Privately Owned Public Space [2023]

(23 mins)

An essay on the everyday choreography stipulated by privately owned public space.

Marrying managerial cod-psychology with the oxymoron of privately owned public space this film hopes that what's wrong with the one will illuminate what's wrong with the other and provide a clearer understanding of how our movements and our thoughts are constrained by an illiberal aesthetic that purports to embody sustainability, diversity and plenty.
